How on earth do I get the wax out without ruining my socks? They a wool/angora blend, so I am afraid that they are trashed. :(

can you iron them? not sure if that would mess them up...if you can..just lay a paper bag over the sock...and then a thin towel over that..iron on the towel adn the wax should come right off onto the paper bag. you might need to move the bag around if there is a lot of wax.

If you make sure your iron isn't on a steam setting, yep. It should work great.
