I want to make B some socks but I'm not really interested in using the size 2s (namely, because I don't have any LOL). Does anyone know of a pattern for children (size 11 toddler up to size 1 child) that would use bigger needles?

Thanks so much

Marion,
Check here.
You can sort by size needed.
http://www.socknitters.com/sockpatterns/sockpatterns.htm
It lists needle size next to last column on right.

Glad to help Marion.
This charity pattern seems very popular and might be one to consider.

There are a few patterns around for woolease for socks, if you're interested in those-- they do use bigger needles but I'm not sure of the sizes...

You probably know about this site-- the top one is one of my first attempts at socks: Joan's sock pattern--

These would be really sweet, too, I'll bet... that snowflake is *soft*!
