first up is some pants for Daisy Duck's little guy Andrew. I made them with a ribbing for the waistband in hopes that it won't rub on his hip much. There still is some elastic in there as well, I really love how these turned out.

(sorry they are so late getting mailed out though :o last week had a few unexpected bumps in the road for us)

then a snowflake flannel pants/raglan shirt outfit for Gracie. I did the waist of these pants the same as the ones for Andrew....the legs are really even, she was just bending one knee

eta: this is some flannel I got black friday '03 for .99 cents a yard...and the white knit, and red were both remnents...so this outfit was super cheap LOL.

ottobre jacket from 3/04...quilted double sided fleece...really cozy! Can you tell she loves it? :D it was much easier to make than I thought it would be, I think I'll make another one for her sometime soon.

size 92, and suprisingly a bit big on her  I see everyone else making larger sizes for their 3t children and I still make small sizes for her...weird. I'm glad now that I didn't make the 98 though :p it would have fit for next year

Those are all really cute!! How did you do that waistband like that?

I used a ks pant pattern, cut off 2 inches from the rise of the pants....made a 4" wide by 18" long for the 3t pattern, also cut some elastic 18" long...sewed the two edges of the elastic together to make a circle, did the same with the ribbing. Folded the ribbing in half, put the elastic inside it and then serged to the waistband.

clear as mud :p

It all looks great. I have some pj bottoms that have ribbing for the waistband and they are my favorite!

Oh I love those pants! What raglan pattern is that? Love that set too and the rib waist.
I need to try that too. Looks SUPER comfy for nighttime especially. :)
