...which means my local store is closing in August. We live so close to downtown that my Joann is literally a 5-10 minute walk (depends on whether I am alone or with my boys); it's less than 1/4 mile for certain.
The new store will be in the huge shopping development. I'm not against the shopping center as it brought a Barnes and Noble (we didn't have an independent bookstore except for children's books) and a Target (I used to have to drive to another city) to us, but I don't want to have a giant Joann ETC and always be fighting traffic and parking.
I just want my little store to stay put!
Peace,
Kimberly
