I hope this is the correct term for it. I was wondering if I could use the blocking technique for wool blend yarns? I am making a knitted purse and the body of the purse is in the stockinette stitch but the top is in the garter stitch. Well the garter stitched top is all wonky. I used Wool ease yarn that is a wool poly blend. Will blocking help reshape this type of yarn? Or do you have any suggestions on how to reshape the top?
Thanks!

Blends. I go the safest route -- pin out, spritz, and let dry -- unless its primarily wool with a touch of human-made, and heavily cabled. Then I wet-block.
