As of the last few weeks DD has become bit of a "cry baby" I can tell her "You have to wait a minute, and then mommy can give you (fill in the blank)." And she goes off. I can be talking to someone else and tell them "no" or show signs that I am upset and she goes off. I know that toddlers have no sense of what patience is, but I'm dying here. She doesn't wait to be nursed when asked to, she is so sassy (she back talks me ALL the time...tells me I'm a bad mommy, etc.), and the only way that I can get her to obey me is if I ask her a million times and then I count down from 5. She knows that if she doesn't do what I ask by the time I get to 0, she has to go to timeout.
I am tired of having to threaten her, but how can I get her to listen??
Please someone give me some advice, I have been a crying mess over this. Does she need to be in the sling more? Do I need to spend more 1 on 1 time with her?
Edit to correct my spelling
