I speak French somewhat fluently (although it's slid over the past few years), but have NO CLUE on how to teach that. Also, DH really wants our kids to learn how to speak Spanish.

So....what is the best language program out there? (that doesn't require a fluent parent in the language)

I think it is a matter of prefrence. Some popular programs are:

Rosetta Stone
Power Glide Jr
Muzzy

I have the regular power glide. My son likes it. It has carmen sandiego feel where you are on a mission as a spy. Totally up DS's alley.
