Our foster orientation was tonight. I called & rsvp'd a couple weeks back, but it was a machine. so I called back on Monday & spoke with someone to rsvp & ask a question.. The lady I spoke with told me that it was from 6:30 til 8. so I filed that away in my brain.


Tonight we got ready to go. I got the flyer with the directions out & left, never looking at more than how to get there. We arrive early, walk in & everyone is listening intently to a speaker. We dont want to disrupt, so we head out to the car & check the flyer. It started at 6 :(

So, we have to wait another month. I was soooo disappointed. Dh was sweet & apologized profusely, and it wasn't even his fault.

I keep telling myself its all for the best, we can get more done, prepare better, etc. But I'm soooo disappointed - I am looking forward to this so much I dont want to wait!

That stinks!

I know you're disappointed--is there any way you can get ahold of some or all of the paperwork to get started? We filled out most of the paperwork before the classes even began and it helped us feel like we were gettin somewhere.

Okay - I am not bummed anymore! LOL
I emailed the director & she said that we should have just come in, they had another late couple. But she said that we can go ahead & get things going with the paperwork! YAY!!!! :)
