Itsy Bitsy Spider
I thought I saw a spider web
and you were stuck within
the little strands of poisoned lies
were powerful yet thin
And slowly but so surely still
the light inside your eyes
looks dimmer every time I look
from living on the fly
Sometimes I do what people do
and try to break the ties
that strangle you invisibly
their hold so well applied
Yet no one else can see the truth
not even you it seems
I wonder, will you live to tell?
who hears your silent screams?
I used to be your mother once
the Spider washed me out
my heart is breaking for my son
beneath
the
water
Spout.

:wah: I'm so sorry to hear what you are going through. I can't imagine. Your eloquent, and yes, chilling words say so much.

Actually no, I interpreted your poem differently.
My son often displays asperger like symptoms (even though the ped ruled out as). I guess I saw my son "stuck within".
I'm sorry for what you are going through.
