I love Harpswell~ dh works at Bowdoin, so we looked at houses in Harpswell, but ended up a bit more inland.

Harpswell is far too expensive! My family is from there originally which is the only way to afford anything. I graduated from Morse in Bath so I obviously know where Dresden is :D I am so jealous of anyone who lives in Maine. I hate CT but my husband makes great pay and I am able to stay at home and homeschool. I still go to Maine once a month though. I need my fix!!!

Yes, the main reason we are in Dresden is the scary price of real estate once you are just that tiny bit closer to the coast.

Where do you go when you come up for your fix? LOL

When did you go to Morse? Dh was there in "88 til he quit. (shame) He and Mr. Lyons didn't keep along AT ALL! LOL

I graduated in 93. My Lyons wasn't a personal favorite of mine either. I was a "good girl" with a bad attitude. All honors classes so he didn't bother me much.
My family still lives in Harpswell (on Great Island there is a road named Pinkham Point and my Nana's family are the Pinkham's). Generally though I stay in Lisbon with my sister. her husband is from there and their kids go to a Christian school so they stick close. My Dad's side is from Lewiston-Auburn.
It's funny how you hate small towns growing up but then want to move right back when you have children of your own! In Harpswell peole can just look at me and know who my parents are, even if they haven't seen me in 10 years. That's scary!
