I've used it for several years now.
I got it long ago from someone named Tawra on ParentsPlace
Granola Bars
1 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup butter or margarine, softened
2 Tbsp. honey
1/2 teaspoon vanilla
1 egg
1 cup flour
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 1/2 cups rolled oats
1 1/4 cups crispy rice cereal (I've sometime used a variey of crushed, dried cereals)
1/2 cup wheatgerm
1 cup chocolate chips
Mix all together and press into a sheet pan. Bake at 350 degrees for around 25 minutes
May also add things like: coconut, peanut butter, nuts, raisons, dried apples, etc
It tends to be dry and crumbly but with time you can adjust the recipe to fit your likes more (I sometimes add a wee bit of milk to moisten it)
