HI! Is there anything I have around my home ( oranges, carrots, lettuce) that I can feed my fish in a pinch? Somehow a dog who shall remain nameless( although we call her Daphne) OPENED the jar of fish food, and ate it. We have a small store here we can go to, and I will check there for food, but I doubt they have it ( it is like privately-owned 7-11 type store w/o gasoline)…ANYWAY I can drive to town if there is nothing else, but I have to go on Monday to take the boys to their classes ( TKD, dance) and the boys and their friends for pizza, so if I can avoid going today, I would rather do that.

So…if anyone knows of anything, let me know. My son says he remembers them eating oranges at the fish-store…but I am not sure.

Hey I am new and I was just browsing around and I saw your post. I had a similar problem. Just a little bit of saltine crackers should do the trick. But make sure you scratch the salt off.
