Right now I am loving Phonics. Ever since ds had the "light bulb" moment, he has really enjoyed reading. I also like the science pojects and Art.

What do you enjoying right now?

Right now it would be ancient history. I'm learning as much as DD is.

For me it is ancient history and prehistory as well, which is funny since I hated all that stuff as a child.

I wouldn't say I am teaching it, but right now we are both enjoying learning about government.

I really enjoy working with my boys in the Calculus book (Calculus by and for young people). I also love reading them the stories in Story of the World. And science is pretty fun, too.

Honestly, I love everything they are learning about right now... and I must say, I am learning quite a bit right along wiht them. :)

I also feel like I am learning so much. I have lost count of how many times I have said "I didn't know that!" I think I enjoy "School" just as much as DS sometimes.

We are just skimming over World History right now, but I am looking forward to studying Ancient Civilizations in the coming months.

Math. We are also enjoying SOTW. I would have to say my least favorite is Grammar just because it's boring.

I love just about anything to do with Science. We're finishing up dinosaurs and starting the solar system next week - the children are very excited about that. Paper mache planets, here we come. :D

I also love Math and history/geography. Ancient Egypt was so much fun. My son Reid, who was born in India, loves anything to do with American History and India. We're hosting our Kids' Club next month and will do a presentation on India. Clothes, food, art activities, holidays, etc. Should be fun and ties in with Brianna's Sonlight 6.
