Anyone know a natural way to treat them?
Sasha is a Border Collie/Rott/Shep and she has had these ear infections over and over and over again!!
Anyone have any ideas?
Might your dog have an allergy? Our Great Pyrenees tends to have ear problems, partially because she has floppy ears, but she does much better when we keep her on food that doesn't have corn in it.

That is a really good question!
She does have the Border Collie floppy ears. Someone suggested to me trimming the hair that is just on the inside of her ear at the bottom of it... but I am not too comfy with that.
This is Sasha....

What is the type of infection they diagnose her with? Bacterial? Yeast?
Also, yes, food allergies can cause ear infections. As can water/moistness. I'd suggest using an ear flush, like Chlorhexiderm, 2 times a week for general cleaning and drying. And getting her on an all hypoallergenic diet. No lamb and rice, those are no longer considered hypoallergenic. I'd go with a duck and potato, or venison and potato, or fish and potato......pretty easy to find. And remember, no treats unless of the same hypoallergenic brand. Health food stores for pets or your vet should carry these diets, as do Petco and Petsmart even.
