Hi! I am the proud mama of 6 month old twin girls - Sara and Rachel, and I would love to get to know other multiple mamas.

Hi, mama. I don't actually post here that often, but I was wandering through today :) You can PM me anytime.
Ben and Milo will be three on the 16th. They are identical twins who were born at 34 weeks. Our current issues are Ben's lazy eye and the fact that they're so darn CUTE they're hard to discipline ;)
I'm glad your girls are already six months. I'm not much help with babies younger than that as I can't remember any of it.
How are things going for you? Any venting, joys, or questions?

ROFL! I so understand that! Rachel was an emergency section (complete w/ general anesthesia), and I woke up on Dilaudid (sp?), so I was seriously stoned. I don't remember much of anything from before they started sleeping through the night.
Right now, they're trying to start crawling. They can both get up on their hands and knees and rock back and forth. I'm so excited about that, but I'm kind of dreading it, too... their brother is 2, so when the girls start crawling I'll have three kids in about 15 different directions!:juggle:

:joker: Me, too!
Welcome! This board can be slow but I pop in every week or so. I'm Christine, SAHM to my wonderful babies (yes, they're nopt babies anymroe...I know - sniff) Daniel and Abigail, who are 2.
If your girls are sleeping well, yeah!!!:balloons:
Mine slept through regularly at 22 months. Yup. I was very, very tired for a long, long time.
Any questions? Concerns? Are you an AP mama? Are you bf, cosleeping, babywearing, any of the above? None of the above? We coslept a lot, especially with Daniel but abby usually liked her own space. I tried my best to bf but had supply issues so we were completely done by 4-5 months. Slings were hard for me due to my C-section recovery.
Post! I love to hear from expecting and new mamas of multiples!

AP - not as much as I would like
BF - MOO... constantly... what I'm doing right now, actually
CD - part time until I can get some more made in their size
CS - no, DH is kinda possessive of what little alone time w/ me that he gets
BW - yes, when we go out. I was already accustomed to a sling from my first child... I've actually started using two slings because the girls have gotten too big to ride in the same one.

Hi and welcome - I have 9 month identical twin girls - they were born at 32 weeks by emergency C-section.

Sounds like we have a bit in common! My girls are also identical, and I had an emergency section. I only had one beforehand, though. How do you stay sane with that many children so close together?:juggle:

I have 5 other children, plus 2 that we are adopting from overseas.
I am excited about the twins, hoping they don't come early, and hoping that the first year isn't quite as rough as I suspect it may be. ;)

Wow! That's a huge family! What's it like? Although I'm sure you get asked that more often than you care for. My curiosity just overcame me.

I'm not claiming total sanity here. ;) But my older ones are pretty good at playing together - so in some respects having three older ones is probably easier.

Yeah, probably so.
