I've been practicing my origami with DD and we've been doing stars. I'm debating whether this is "good enough" for the ornament swap. Feedback? My back up plan is moons with a little star hanging over them....I got this idea from a website and they look darn cute.
which would you prefer?

either sounds lovely!
I know, I am no help...
ok.... looking for problems here.. I have a 2 year old, a pretty paper star might get unfolded...
But i LOVe paper ornaments... so??? ;)
Ooo, could you share the link for that site? Last year I had to take the tree down because everything kept getting knocked off of it. This year I am keeping the breakables packed and my four kids are making all the decorations for the tree. I think they would love to do origami!

here is the little moon I got the inspiration for..... http://www.organic-cotton-clothes.com/hand-felted-wool.html
for the origami, these two are the stars I was looking at http://dev.origami.com/images_pdf/decostar.pdf and this one http://dev.origami.com/images_pdf/thrstar.pdf

I bet those stars would turn out awesome made out of cool paper... but those moons  I would be happy with either though!
I was ROFL at the comment on the throwing star instructions...
"and toss at unsuspecting sibling"
I wont open that page in front of my girls LOL
