OK, what would be in pecan pie that would make it not vegan? I'm a meat eater, but I know that animal products can hide in seemingly vegetarian stuff. I'll check my recipe for ya if you can tell me what you need to leave out.

I'm thinking butter would be the biggest offender

The recipe I have uses eggs and butter.
