Okay, I admit it. I'm a dingbat. Its probably so easy, but I have no clue how to sun a diaper. Do I just stick it out in the sun and thats it? How long does it usually take? TIA

I hang out wet (from the washer) dipes, then bring them in when dry. Stains are usually gone in a few hours.

And not a stupid question. It took about 8 explainations before I figured out how to care for wool covers.

Hanging them dry isn't nearly as effective.

We too hang them out straight from the wash in about 2-4 hours diapers are dry and stain free :D

one time my mother put diapers out in the evening...and the next morning they were stain free! no lie! so i guess you can 'moon' your diapers too.

we always laid them out on the deck straight out of the washer and then when the stains were gone in a couple hours..i finished them in the dryer to make them softer.

Don't feel dumb. I often wondered the same thing, but didn't ask anyone I know. The thing that makes me feel dumb now is that I didn't ask, because the first response to your post was from someone I know personally. :p
