If you were just going for the discount aspect of it, there wasn't much I was interested in that was on their list. It would be nice to have some sort of official looking card to flash at Lakeshore or other stores to see if they would offer a discount though.

Well, I did the free access code for JA's. And I just looked over the list thanks to your post and Brandy's note. I can see that it would be useful if I was using OM curriculum. Or if I was paying out of pocket instead of via a charter school.

I did like that they offered school id's. Although, I can't say that our charter doesn't offer them kwim? Something I should check into I guess.

I don't think I needed an ID card (though I have one thru our school) to get a discount at Lakeshore.....

I'm thinking of doing it for the discounts and because our charter does not give out IDs. I've been to a lot of places that would give me a discount if I had an ID (like Staples, Michael's, etc.) so I'm trying to figure out if it's worth the +/-$20 year. Staples has a teacher's discount card (like their biz one) but they won't give it to home educator's without official-looking student IDs or educator's IDs.
