I dont know what's going on with him. he's 1 yr old. He's in a cage outside and is covers and has a warm home. I feed him pellets and alfalfa(not tooo much though). I also give him Timothy Hay. Although he hasn't had Timothy Hay for a few weeks. He is VERY boney. I can feel his spine and you can kinda see it through his skin/fur. I called the vet and the answering service is really rude. i asked for teh vet to call me so the AS asked why and i said cuz my bunny is very boney and I'm not sure if somethings wrong. So the AS tells me "I cant call the vet just because your rabbit is skinny. it has to be an emergency" so this is where I get rude and say "well thats why I'm calling cuz him being skinny and boney COULD possibly be an emergency" so then I said "if you wont call her for me then I'll call another vet for help" then she huffed and said she'll try paging her. That was 40 minutes ago. I've never had to call my vet for an emergency on off hours. The vet is VERY VERY nice and very helpful and sweet. It's this jerk AS person. Could my bunny be getting boney cuz of the season change and will fatten up as son as he's adjusted? I am very impatient in waiting for the vet to call back. Honestly I don't even know if she is experienced with bunnies. I only bring my cat and puppy there and she's gresat with them. Please someone reassure me he won't die on me. I feel so bad for him and feel like I'm hurting him or something. I take good care of him and buy him toys and everything. Since I saw him all boney i went out and got him some of the more expensive fiesta rabbit food with the other stuff in it besides pellets. I gradually fed him some. I didn't just do a sudden food change. he is a good eater still. I watch him eat and he's got plenty of fresh water. I'm so scared for him. :wah: Please someone help me. :wah:
