When I log on to AW, it says I have 500 new threads and 100 new posts (hypothetical numbers of course!) blah blah blah and I hit the view new posts it comes up with *no matches found*???????????  This happens frequently. I know you all are chatty so from 6 am till noon there HAVE to be posts~:D
Am I doing something wrong? I like to do it this way so that I see all the posts, even forums I don't visit.

it sounds like your computer might be storing older versions of the pages... especially since we're all cookied for the site.
if you're using internet explorere, go to to tools, internet options, and then you'll see some choices. You might start by clearing your cookies but then the first time you log into certain sites (like amitys) it will ask you for your user and password. It should cookie them again so you don't keep getting asked. I'd also clean out files, clear history and change the history to not store more than 1 day.
That way every time you go in, you're getting the newest version of the page and seeing new stuff.
Of course, if you're tracking someone's online visiting, then you might not want those settings, but if it's just you using the computer, go ahead and make the changes.
Good luck!

I have this happen sometimes too, Isabel. I find that if the *first* thing I do when I come to the site (I go to www.amitymama.com/vb/index.php), is click on the "view all new posts", then it's less likely to come up empty like that. If I try following a link from my email, or reading private messages first, then I'll get that "no matches found" even though I know there are plenty. I wish I had an answer to this too.
btw, your boots were sent today. :)
