we have cream colored Berber carpet(not our choice).
Last night while I was teaching a class and other parents were supposed to be watching the kids they got into playdoh, mixed this dark plum color and ground it into DS carpet. I was able to keep DH from noticing but he will freak. What can I do?

I think that if you let it dry, it will get crusty enough to sort of brush out..then it is washable,,so get as much out as you can, then add soap and scrub!

I would actually call the 800 number on the container, and see what they say! I never thought to do that for anything until Chrissy (at 2) put a whole jar of vaseline in her hair and nothing we tried worked to get it out. I was completely surprised with their anwser (blow dry the hair) and it worked!!! They'll know wxactly what will and won't work, since it's they're product :)
If you call, let us know what they say - I've had playdough in carpet way too many times to count - but it was old and I didn't care and it eventually vaccummed out :)

most of the time...
let it dry. take a table knife (butter knife, not a sharp one) and scrape it off. Vacuum. For me, it's always gone. I hope it works for you!
(it works so well for me, Erik can play with playdough wherever he wants in the house.)
