I have been bidding on this pair of shoes on ebay. Another bidder and I have been having this bidding war (the seller is going to be thrilled how much money she ends up getting). If I do win the shoes, and they don't fit me, is it OK for me to contact the other bidder and offer them to her for her highest bid? Obviously it would be less than I paid but it would be what she was willing to pay? They are half a size smaller than the other pair of the same style I own, but I think mine are a little big, big enough I could posssibly wear the next half size down, so I think these would fit me but I can't know for sure until I try them on. The seller lives right down the street from me so I can just go pick them up if I win. (I should have asked her to try them on but I thought she might think that was creepy). Anyway, is this kind of thing legal?

*technically* its against ebay policy and you *could* get your membership taken away for it.

The only crappy part is that you dont know 100% that it isnt her bidding against you to raise her auction (MANY,MANY ebayers have 2 accounts so they can do this),or one of her friends, and they *could* report you if you try re-selling to the other bidder.

Did that make any sense? Im NAK.
