Year of Wonders by Geraldine Brooks EXCELLENT!!! I absolutely LOVED it!!!! Takes place in the 17th Century and tells the story of one towns fight against the plague. EXCELLENT!!!!

Drowning Ruth by Christina Schwarz another GREAT book!!! Early 1900's story about one "dysfunctional" family.

I just started Girl With a Pearl Earring. I figured I should read it b4 seeing the movie ;)

Okay, just finished Girl with a Pearl Earring last night and WOW!! It was great!!!! Now I need to go rent the movie ;)

Sounds great! I will need some books after I am done with the three series I am in... I am close. I go back and forth between weather I want mostly entertainment, or some heavier lore, or educational. The books I am in now are Child of the Prophecy (book 3), from the SevenWaters Trilogy, Guide to a Simple Life, and The Plains of Passage, book 4 from the Clan of the Cave Bear series. They are all just wonderful!
