i am really trying. everything gets paid. somethings i pay extra. i have a little bit extra, but who knows for how long lol

dh is a bit annoyed with me at times also. he does not seem to get it. see i took over and we got a house within 2 years. i have tried to show him where it is going but he takes it as if he needs to work more. that is not my point. there are just somethings we can't do.

What is he wanting? How much do you spend on things? Is there a place you could cut back and find more cash?? What does he feel he is missing, and is he really missing it, or just worried and blathering out possibilities that inadvertantly hurt your feelings??

I think that men and women think differently about things. I know that my dh likes to look at the news paper and mail adds and say things like "Honey! Dr Martins for $35.00 at Big Lots.. Those would look great on you." and totally make me feel like crap because I haven't saved the extra money to get anything like that. But in his mind he is just showing me a good deal. Or he will see some good deal for him, and I will get it for him and then blame him for "talking me into it". Which in his mind he was just talking about possiblities. We think differently... and we comunicate really well most of the time, so it doesn't hurt... but sometimes we get in huge fights over things he "just said". KWIM?

I mean like we got a credit for furniture in December. It was one of those no interest if paid off. Which it was paid off with our tax return. So he wanted to charge on it. Saying we could pay it by December. Then I asked him how he plans to do that before the holidays. So he just tells me "I must not be working enough". Not like I was asking for the stuff he was.

We do not fight over money. He just not seem to get how much is going out every month. Mostly for the house and van. I have very few extras I am paying.

My mortgage is suppose to go down. The local office gives them the estimated escrow amount which inclues my community fees. The office in St. Louis was sent the bill and says they don't pay community fees. So right now I am paying them twice. I have a USDA/Rural Development home loan which goes by income. I called and complained :) Which means if I work my payment goes up.
