i am trying to pay someone that only accepts funded payments. i have paid her before and it comes out of my bank. last night, it only gave me the option of echeck and my debit card-which somehow got denied even though there is money there.
does anyone know why i can't access my bank account from paypal? does it have to do with who i am sending it to?
help!!

If you don't have sufficient funds in your PP account you can send an Echeck - which takes 3-4 days to clear (if she has a funded account she can accept an Echeck but not a debit card payment). Else you can transfer money from your bank account to your PP account - which will take 3-4 days and then pay her.

check the expiraion date in you debit card. the same thing happened to me when my card was about to expire. I had a new card from the bank w/ the same # I just forgot to update the expiration date

:ditto: Except mine rejected everything, so it took me a good bit to figure out why. My Credit card payment was denied, my Ebay account was flaged, my Paypal would not let me send money, and all because when I got a new card I never updated the expiration date on anything. Making payments online works great Untill you run into a "little" problem like that!

i think that may be what it was. i just closed a CC and it was still on my acct. apparently that sufficiently corn-fused paypal.:rolleyes:
