I'm trying a new recipe tonight (parmesean dill rolls) and it calls for self-rising flour. What do I add to reg. flour to make it self-rising?

For 1 cup self-rising flour use:

* 1 cup all-purpose flour
* 1 1/4 teaspoon baking powder
* a pinch of salt.

bread flour has more gluten in it-helps it rise.

If you use all purpose flour to make bread-you should add
1 tbsp gluten to the cup measure, then add the all purpose flour(for white flour)
2 tbsp flour to the cup measure, then add wheat flour to the top.

this is for each cup used in a bread recipe.
