Man, this summer has been nuts. Dh worked summer school, I have spent alot of time with my grand dad, t-ball, soccer, the garden has been time consuming, and we have had at least a dozen parties, reunions, weddings, etc... in the last 2 months and that isn't counting the small bon fires at my parents, our two camping trips, day trips, etc...

I feel that I have fallen off track with keeping the house up and it was nice to get back into gear yesterday. Dh has two weeks off before he goes back to work and we decided that we need to get the house deep cleaned before school starts so that I can focus on homeschooling and getting ready for the wee one's arrival :).

Yesterday we moved all the furniture in the house, vacuumed the floors and around the baseboards and then we steam cleaned every carpet. I also took the time to declutter my linen closet, clean the bathroom and declutter the medicine chest and under the sink.

Todays agenda includes deep cleaning the laundry room and kitchen, organizing the game closet and art supplies (I also want to make a list of what I have in each so that I don't forget about possible activities to use with Gabe) before I have to go the the chiro and then a bridal shower tonight.

We hope to get the house immaculate by the weekend because I should be knee deep in ripe tomatoes that need to be canned by then.

Anyone else doing deep cleaning right now?

I am, although I am absolutely amotivated today. I stayed up way too late working on going through all of the baby clothes I have and all of Liams clothes, trying to get them ready for the consignment sales that start accepting clothes next week. I decided doing those was easier than ebay. Last night I sorted everything, now I ned to go back and check for cleanliness, tag and hang things. I still have about a week though, so I should be fine. Last weekend I cleaned out all the kitchen cabinets and got rid of a ton of tupperware, several appliances we dont use, and just a lot of stuff in general. I also cleaned out the food cabinets-- we got bugs in the flour :( I also went through all of my drawers in the dining room-- that is a catchall place for us, so that took an entire day. My next big job is the playcloset , followed by dh closet and drawers, my closet and drawers, and the bathroom cabinet. I did "Liam's" room 2 weeks ago--- that has been a catchall room for us, so it was terrible. I still need to go through a few things in our office as well, and I need to break the lock on a filing cabinet-- oh and sort the fabric in here. I did sort through my notions the other day. I think today is going to be a day of rest though, lol. Liam got up at 530AM, and I didnt go to bed until 130. Second night in a rom I have gotten lessthan 5hrs sleep and i think it has caught up w me.

Ok, babblefest over, lol

I am. The boys started school yesterday. Today I've been working like a mad woman!!! House is looking pretty good.

I have laundry coming out of my ears. I need to fold and put away about 4 loads and I have two to wash/dry and p/a.

I need to get the house deep cleaned. I start the nursing program in less than two weeks. I won't be doing 'nothin but studying after that....'cep being mama, of course.
