I finally got them up but they are small.

What size should I be making them so they are not too small and not too big?

I'm trying to figure it all out and would like to be able to make my for sale items a bit larger.

You probably want them to be about 3x5... I'm thinking that you're showing the thumbnails, rather than the larger pictures at shutterfly. Try clicking on the thumbnails when you're logged into shutterfly, and then looking at the URL (web address) you're at while viewing the larger photos.
