I dyed this yarn with dark cherry, but had never dyed so much yarn at once before and didn't use enough dye and it came out pink. I was so upset, but after it dried I decided that I really liked it - it has an antique rose look to it. So I worked up some shorts for ds and everyone is telling me that they are way too girly for him and that I should dye over it....but I don't wanna! What do you think? Would you put them on your boy and go out in public?

I would definately put them on my boy! They're adorable! Hmm. What do you all think would happen to him if they were "too girly"? I mean, what bad thing could come of it?

ooh, those are cute! Not too girly at all... I never understand giving colors a specific gender, anyways.

What the heck does "girly" mean. Pleeeeease. It's a color, and a nice one at that. Personally, I love blue and green, is that too "boyish" for me to wear. They look great on your baby. Let him strut his stuff.
