The diapers that I have are all front snapping. I figured they would be easier as we were switching from 'sposies. But now I wonder, what are the benefits of side snapping vs front snapping.

So if you have a preference could you post what and why?

I like side snap diapers so much more than front snap. while it is true that it is mildly asier to use front snaps ds has really chubby thighs so front snap iapers always either hang off of him (fit his thighs) or they pinch his hips (fit belly). with side snaps i can make the waist tighter than the hip snaps so they fit perfectly

i'm in the opposite camp. i prefer front snapping to side snaps. I have a harder time getting my wriggly toddler to hold still for a side snap for some reason and they tend to pooch in the front in my humble opinion.

i really prefer front snaps and am trying to trade all my sides for fronts. lol

I personally like aplix on our diapers. They are just so much quicker on a very wiggly 2 year old!

I like front snapping fitteds for my 2 year old skinny boy. His legs are skinny and he is usually off more in the stomach to thigh ratio than side snaps allow. They are also quicker to put on as he is trying to get away :) Now for covers or AIO's I prefer side snapping because I tend to get wicking through front snaps.

I liked side snapping because they laid flatter across her tummy and her clothes fit better that way. Aplix didn't work after she was about a year because she figured out how to undo it and kept taking her diaper off!
