I bought something on ebay a couple months ago. I went on vacation right after I got it and didn't get to use it right away. It was about a month or so after I got it that I used it for the first time and realized that there was a flaw. I contacted the seller and asked that just this one piece be replaced - not the whole thing - just one piece. He didn't respond and after multiple emails that went without a response, I emailed them letting them know of my disappointment with their lack of communication and advised that I was going to leave neg. feedback.

Well within a day or so, I got a profusely apologetic email saying that he had just changed jobs, had limited computer time and had just gotten my message. He advised that he wanted to replace the entire item to make sure I was happy. I advised him that I didn't need a whole new item, just the broken piece - he insisted upon replacing the whole thing and said he would get it out ASAP. That was last weekend. Here I am a week later - still no item and again he's not responding to my emails asking about the status.

Here's the kicker - the 60 day feedback time has elapsed. I trusted him to do what he said and send the item but it appears as though he was just biding his time until the 60 days elapsed.

Does anyone know if I have any recourse? Is there anyway to still leave feedback for this transaction or is there anything else you can think of that I can do?

I think if the auction is still up/showing you can still leave feedback.... I think you go to the item and leave feedback from it somehow..a link on the auction page maybe...

I'm not sure really how it works.. But I've seen people talk about it. Hopefully someone can tell you how to do it.

Someone left me feedback WAY after the time was up once.
