I was just browsing through my ebay account and noticed that I am awaiting feedback from a seller for stuff I bought at the end of May, begining of June time. So I checked her feedback that she's left for people and seriously it's 25 versus the hundreds she has had left for her!!! 304 to be exact! So I sent her a message asking her to please leave feedback for the auctions I won. I promtly left her feedback when I recieved the items.. she should have done the same. She recieved her payment THE DAY I won the auctions!! (They were all BIN) I'm so irritated. I don't have much feedback at all, b/c I go in spurts with ebay.. but I'd really like her feedback to bump mine up over 30 finally!!!!!

Sure you're not talking about me? :joker:

I'm horrible at leaving feedback. I don't think it's rude to email her. I would probably be better at remembering if people emailed me a link. Should they HAVE to beg me for feedback? No way - I'm the one at fault! But since I'm so lazy and disorganized, I'm just saying that emailing me with a link would help get me on the ball.

LOL Wendy.. I'm horrible about leaving feedback here.. ebay I tend to do it right away b/c I buy from there more often than here! But I also go in spurts, I'll order several things at a time every few months. Just did four BIN auctions for various things for my sons birthday party! LOL

I feel your frustration Dawn. It only takes two seconds to leave fb - why do so many sellers not do it?

A few weeks ago I had several eBay sellers who owed me feedback and it had been over a month on all of the transactions. I e-mailed all of them a polite request and half of them left me fb. The other half ignored me  I figure at least I tried. None of them were mad I e-mailed them though.

i was wondering if im the only one this has happened to

im very good about leaving feedback on ebay ( im kinda slacking here though .. i guess i need that constant .. you did this so leave this picture )

i sent a message to 4 people yesterday asking if they would leave me feedback ... i have always paid on the spot or shortly after and prompt about whatever.... so i expect and cherish my 100% positive feedback .. and love to see the number go up when i earn it!!

i have had 2 people leave it since i asked.... so hopefully the others come forward i spent a pretty penny on cadens bedding and want that + !!!! lol

I'm good about leaving feedback on ebay... not so good about leaving it here. There are a lot of sellers on ebay that owe me feedback... several of them are sellers that emailed me asking that I leave feedback for them .. yet they can't do the same. that's pretty rude.

I leave feedback for every single buyer I have. It is a great way for me to keep track of auctions that have shipped as well.

I agree that sellers should leave feedback, but there are just as many buyers out there that don't leave feedback as well ;) I should have about 1500 more feedback than I do. What can you do? LOL

I remember when I first started using ebay in 98, i thought a seller HAD to leave you feedback. I emailed a seller and got a little snotty with them and he was quick to tell me he would report me and I was buying the item and not feedback. .. too bad I had already left his or I would have left a big FAT negative lol.

I never asked for feedback again... :o

I leave feedback for every ebay transaction. I try to do it right away, but sometimes it takes me a couple of weeks. It is kind of frustrating when people don't follow through, but I've never actually asked anyone to leave feedback. I'm afraid they'll get annoyed.

I always leave feedback here too, but I don't think I've ever had anyone leave any for me.

If I'm the buyer, I always email the seller saying that I have received my item, and to please remember to leave me feedback, as I have already left feedback for them as well.
Works like a charm!

That's a good way to do it Lori. When you get your item, email the seller and tell them it arrived safely and that you've left feedback for them. Otherwise, I never email and ask for feedback since it isn't something you have to do.

I do have a habbit of checking to see how many times a person has left feedback for others. If it is a low ratio, I hold off on giving feedback until they give me feedback (which usually doesn't happen).

I do always eventually leave feedback (except in the above case). I prefer to wait until I know the buyer has received the item (tracking #). I don't like to leave feedback right away as you never know what the other person is going to try and pull over. (No, I don't normally trust anyone except my DH.)

This happens to me a lot too. I, almost without exception, pay for my auctions as soon as I win them, and always leave feedback for others. But, just these past two weeks alone, I've bought from 12 sellers (it's back-to-school time and I can't resist trying ALL the curricula out there...lol), and gotten feedback from about four of them.

Oh well...

So no, I don't think you're rude at all. :)
