When someone changes their email address in their profile here, the site automatically sets their account as "awaiting email confirmation", and is *supposed* to send a link to their new email address - when they click on the link, it should set them back to "registered" status. However, I think sometimes the email is never received by the users, so the process can be rather frustrating.
