Anyone interested in a crochet soaker pattern can get it now. :) It includes sizes preemie to x-large and also has customizable options. I'm still working on getting the webpage up. In the meantime, it's $10 and I take paypal at dandelions2@yahoo.com . Please put the email address you want the pattern sent to in the comments section. You will need the adobe reader to view the pattern. Thanks! Please let me know if you have any questions.
You can see a pic of a soaker made from this pattern below:

:D I learned all about dyeing from MDC http://mothering.com/discussions/showthread.php?s=&threadid=74201
You can get yarn at Michael's if you have one nearby - they carry Lion Brand Fisherman's wool. If you have a yarn shop nearby you can get any 100% untreated wool yarn. Otherwise, you'll have to look around online.

That depends on the size you are making and how good you are at crocheting. I've been crocheting for about 15 years and it takes me about 2 hours to do the preemie and about 6 hours to do the x-large (that's total time - it's usually stretched out over a few days since I only get naptimes to work on them).
ps - i'm nak too ;)
