whining!

Don has been gone so much this week and last, and I was just starting to get caught up (not to mention used to having him here two evenings a week). I am sitting in a distroyed office right now that I just spent tewo weeks straitening up, the rest of the house needs a good deep cleaning and I do not have the time until next month basically... and I am feeling a little down, and a little like a failure. This is my job, you know? I chose it, I love it, and when I can't keep up it hits me hard sometimes. That is all... everything else is sorting itself out... but that is getting me down.

The money stuff is still $hit... but I am getting used to that. We had to borrow $200 from various people so we had rent again this month... we have not been to the grocery store in two weeks... BUT one good thing about Don being gone is that he finally is done with his probationary period at work and his next paycheck he will have a $2/hr raise on it, PLUS about 20 hours of overtime. So that should be enough to catch us up, at least some of the way. That is just 10 days away. :)

Anyway... I just needed to whine for a minute... I am feeling like I can't keep up... but nothing dramatic. Just feeling down a little this morning.

Love Val

Awwww--- the lightat the end of the tunnel is near babe! Ya know what you need to do something celebratorywhen he gets that check-- even if it is something as silly as taking the family bowling, or out for a bite to eat, or just something that you would normally consider frivilous. Being at my inlaws for the last few days, Dh and I have had a built in baby sitter, and dh also got an extra little check for some work he has done, so we have done silly things that we wouldnt normally go and do, and honestly it has made a HUGE difference in our outlook. I am not talking abt going to blow 50.00, I mean more like 20.00 that you wouldnt normally spend. And here is my big giant hug too-- I know it has been hard for you!

I agree take a little bit of that check and do something fun. How about a picnic at a park or anything you could all enjoy. You are doing great and it will be over soon! Just hang in there.
