They are super-trim, underwear like cloth diapers, essentially. They sell disposable or reusable pads to go inside them.
The prices are VERY reasonable...I thought I'd pass this info on to anyone who is looking for a solution for their older child. I know I've had people e-mail me *begging* for such a product, but I have never had the time to devote to developing the bigger size ranges and the level of absorbency required. (My 45-lb night wetter still wears my Night Pants I made for her, but beyond 60 lb, I don't have a pattern...plus I can't sell them that cheap without working for free.)
I am going to order some of the standard "briefs" for Jake. (I'd love the boxers but they are for 45 lb and up...maybe I will sew the briefs into Jake's boxers like they seem to have done.) And a few pads.
We are close to potty training but I am so sick of spending money on disposable diapers and filling up landfill with them. I won't get into how someone who washed cloth dipes in a laundromat in an Alaska winter ended up using disposables; let's just say it's been a rough few years and if you haven't walked in my poop-filled shoes, don't go there. ;) But boy, I would LOVE to get back to cloth...so far haven't found anything that will hold the quarts of pee my child can let forth.
I will definitely post a review after trying these...if I am the first. Am I the first? Anyone else discovered these yet?
(Ironically I found them in a Google related ad when searching for "massage children special needs," see other post...)
