Let's share in each other's yard sale excitement! What great deals have you gotten lately from yard sales?

Today I got :

2 pairs of ec cotton pj's for Logan - $1 a piece -

EC jacket for fall for Logan - .50

Doll stroller for Logan's beloved Bubbit - $1

One of those ride in bubbly cars - it's been well played with, but Logan has always wanted one, and this still has LOTS of life left in it - $5

Booster Seat for seat belt - it's a little early yet, but I have room to store it - it hasn't been in an accident, and looks new - $1

Set of 2 projectors and literally hundreds of films with cassettes used for hs - $5 - this is incredibly cool and will prove to be an invaluable resource for us, plus, Devin thinks it's way cool.

A sturdy old wood desk that I plan on either refinishing (just hate the fumes) or painting and stenciling (probably this) and making into a sewing table with drawers for $10

Some Dr. Seus bright and early books for beginning beginners (we love these and are always looking for new ones) and an alphabet farm book for a quarter a piece.

Some nap mats that the guy threw in for free that I plan on using for Logan and the 2 other little ones I'm watching now.

7 paperback books for reading in the tub - quarter a piece.

Oh, and a pretty glass jar I plan on making into a container candle to give for Christmas. - .50

2 VHS movies for Devin - $1 a piece

Shewww..... and those are our deals. Tell us yours!

WOWZA!! LOL :p

I got a pair of winter gloves for dh that had a price tag on them of $69.99 :drop: for $5.00 Well worth it because they are an awesome, thick and warm pair of gloves with waterproofing.

I also got a clothing valet (like a wooden stand that you hang your dress clothes on) that is in fabulous condition for $3. I am going to clean it up a bit, and give it to my dad with a shirt on it for Christmas. (he has been wanting one for ages since he has to get all decked out for work each day)

I'll be too busy to go sailing tomorrow :wah:

No saling here. But I feel great because I packed our red 89 HondaCivic hatchback full of toys and clothes and stuff we no longer need. Our friends are moving back down here from New Hampshire and they will be receiving it as a present. :) I made them promise to give me back anything they didn't absolutely love so I don't feel guilty for increasing their clutter. :) They are coming down with very little so I have a feeling they will find a lot they can use!

Cleaning out the garage tomorrow...so there will be more!

I haven't found the good sale areas here yet. I went to several this morning and only came home with a navy chennile/velour (don't know which) throw that I love.

Last weekend I hit the jackpot while at my parents. I got a bunch of clothes for the boys all namebrands (Ralph Lauren, gap, old navy) I got over 30 items for $20 total. I also got 2 additions to our Fisher Price Little People collection, I got the found sounds park and the garage with all the people to go with them and I got a collection of power ranger figures (G loves these). I paid $10 for all that and it was a trunk full of things.
