Have you read this book? I haven't yet, but now have it reserved at the library.
I watched the movie over the weekend. WOW. What an amazing man.
One of the quotes is:
Love is the only rational act. Let it come in.
Wow.
I want to hear your thoughts.
I loved it! I loved Morrie and his living funeral.
So many pearls of wisdom in that book.
I liked how he held hands, physically demonstrative even with other men. My dad is like that, a hugger.
Of course at the end I cried. :wah:
I wondered if people would be closed minded and decide not read it because he wasn't religious.

I've read it several times and loved it every time...
who says you gotta be religious to be a good person?
WONDERFUL BOOK!!!
Some people do think that, unfortunately.

I remember being very touched after reading that book--I read both that one and The Five People You Meet in Heaven (dp got one for XMas, I got the other). I'd actually like to reread it, I think I have more time in my life right now to really think hard about some of it. Life gets so complicated, and this book really makes you think and simplifies what is important. I recommend it....

I read that a few years ago. I cried through the whole thing. I would love it if I could get my husband to read it. It's really more about men, but I can't get him to read more than the newspaper!
You'll enjoy it, it's a good read.
