Okay here goes:

Today's list

Laundry room:
--- start a load of laundry (daily)
today's chore
--- sort your piles of laundry(you should never have to really do this again if we get you going in the right direction)

Master Bedroom:
---- make your bed (daily)
---- gather laundry (daily)
today's chore
---- clear off 1 dresser top and put everything away (you may do them all if they are not too bad)

Kitchen:
--- empty dishwasher(daily)
--- fill dishwasher (daily)
today's chore
--- clear off counters and wipe them down (put clutter in a container to work on later)

Living room:
today's chore
--- remove clutter from couches and fluff up pillows (go ahead and put everything away or atleast in the appropriate rooms)

office:
today's chore
--- Neatly stack all of your lose paperwork (don't worry where it goes right now just stack it neatly


All bathrooms:
today's chore
--- freshen up towels, put dirty ones in laundry room

Extra bedrooms:(kid's should help in their room)
today's chore
--- pull all dirty laundry, dirty dishes and empty any trash

Sewing rooms:
today's chore
--- neatly fold 5 pieces of fabric and set aside

okay that is probably enough for today! This is the first day so leave feedback when you send your checked off lists and let me know if this is too much or if you want to concentrate on one room at a time. I am fairly new to amitymama so bear with me on using some of the features (like poles, and using links, etc...)

Don't for get to put your laundry in the dryer sometime today so it doesn't sour, we will work on putting it away tommorrow, also don't worry about starting another load unless you have to, we will get through the laundry.

As a matter of fact as we go through this challenge, I would love for you to post when your laundry end is in sight!!!!

Well I have to go up town today to chauffer my SIL that flipped her truck Saturday! I will check on the posts when I get home later this afternoon.

Yeah for me I have a headstart I only have diapers in the dryer and only enough laundry for 1 load, I hate laundry piles so that is the 1 think I'm a little good at. tee hee. I'm printing this out asap!

I say pictures would be awesome. I know for me, seeing pictures or atleast having to take them, gets me motivated big time!

You mamas are serious about this! I was thinking there was going to only be an area to look at...I was doing o.k. until I got to the sewing area part of the list... I have to clear a path to 5 pieces of fabric... Would it be o.k. if I just walked around my house and gathered up 5 pieces laying around (yes...I'm one of those kind of sewing mamas...messy) and put them by the door that leads to the aforementioned path problem...lol...? Just kidding... Thanks for the list..I'll see what I can do. Even one area is better than none...right?

Does anyone know why the pics don't show up and only links do?

I needed this :)

No pics, largely because I'm using the time it would take to post them to hit my bathroom sinks and toilets in addition to the other stuff. Oh, and I vacuumed upstairs because if a shirt fell on the carpet while I was folding laundry, it ended up covered in pet hair (2 cats, 2 dogs, experts in shedding profusely). This was NOT helping me keep up with laundry!

I think it works better if you do alittle each room. Well for me, I start out with a plan to just do alittle here & there & end up doing so much more.
