these are actually still in the making, but i wanted to post them (bc it will keep me motivated and keep me off my booty)

1st i started the celtic yule wreaths

i am drying the apples and tieing up the cinnamon sticks to add to it. thinking i might attach some pine cones as well. i had a great time wrapping the grapevines (and decluttering my basement at the same time, we had grapevines EVERYWHERE lol).


yesterday, right after my sewing machine died (thankfully after making danaia's daugthers outfit and the quilt square for kristys quilt), i decided to try out metal embossing.

this is for a friend, i still need to miter the wood for the frame and then paint it. edited to add: this was my first time embossing, so its not perfect (yet)

then i crocheted 4 childrens scarves for an orphanage in europe. i am almost finished with my crochet bucket bag then i need to felt it :thumbsup:

hey, you've been as busy as me! They all look great! The green is grapevines too...just fresh? That would be really fun to play with!

Bran-- why is it that I want EVERYTHING that you make? (I'm sure the Yule wreath will be gorgeous when completed, but its beautiful now) And I may have to take up embossing, 'cause I think my altar space needs something like that. And are you off bedrest now or are you still doing this illicitly?

aww that makes me feel so good (that you want everything i make) :D if you dont take up embossing - i would be more than happy to make you something (i need to practice!)
i am off strict bedrest and on "modified" best rest. which mean i am supposed to be sitting a lot. thats cool bc it mean i can get out every now and againa dn not go completely crazy!
