i have wanted to change the symbol under my name, but i am clueless as to how to accomplish it. any help would be greatly appreciated:)

I know this is old, but...

I got mine by finding a picture online, making it tiny with my photo software, and then editing it a bit. I think most people get theirs in a slightly easier way, though. :) If you do a google search for avatar, you may get some good sites to look on. Or you can always use one of the avatars I've made for this site (mostly rainbows :))
