View Full Version : Sure sellers and garage sale finds
I was just wondering if anyone had some tips on garage saleing for ebay, what types of things to be on the lookout for that are sure sellers? I don't need a long list, just maybe a few guidlines or items that have worked for you.

Are you a member of Spare Dollar? They have a list of hot sellers that's as long as your arm. It even includes all those little *quirks* that collectors know what to look for but means almost nothing to the rest of us. Vintage jewelry (brooches) is usually a big hit with a high profit. For example, buy it for .75, sell it for $20. Old dolls in good condition. Those are the things I've had the best luck with. I don't like to do clothes, because I do not like to look for all the teeny little flaws and list every little detail.
Edited to add: I don't know what kind of luck you'd have finding them at garage sales, but people go CRAZY over used cloth diapers (if they're in good condition, of course).
