Last question! LOL!
I was looking at my green bean plants and realizing some of the leaves and stuff on the bottom were dead looking and some of the green beans that were growing were eaten up pretty bad by bugs. Should I pick that stuff off to help the good parts of the plants get more of the plant energy? or should I leave it alone so i dont make it worse?
How about tomato plants, do you pick off the dying leaves? leave them alone? I think I remember my stepdad having us pick off the little pieces that grow between the branches (in the "v" of them). I hope i explained myself ok. Do you do that?
We have green beans, tomatoes, cabbage, head lettuce, green peppers, onions, cucumbers, and watermelon planted. Is there anything I should be doing to help any of those plants?
Thank you all for you help. We are still learning how to garden. This is only our 2nd yr and last yr. we didnt do so well. We are hoping to do better this year.
