I swear a gremlin comes in and pulls stuff off the shelves so everything looks sloppy and crammed in there!?!

In the master bath I keep my towels. Maybe I should keep the kids abthroom towels in their bathroom to amke room in the linen closet for the rags and linens I have...

All thoughts appreciated!

(We're 6 people in a house with 1 linen closet.)

Warmly,
Debra

and anything they touch becomes disorganized lol. In the cabinet in their bathroom I just keep 2-3 towels and a couple of face cloths. That's all they need and when they access the cabinet with the towels and toys it isn't all of my clean linens being jumbled around. The main linen closet is just kind of quietly 'off limits' since they never need to be in there for anything.

When they are old enough to change their own sheets I will throw the clean sheets on the bottom of their bed as a reminder to do it that day. My mom used to do it that way because her linen closet was always stacked so full of sheets and there was *no* neat way for a child to pull new sets out lol.

We only have one teeny linen/towel/other closet for all 5 of us.

I just take out what they need for baths that night so that i do not end up with an avalanch the next time i open the door *lol* .. I also change their sheets for them even though they are older.. because if i don't i have to sit there for a half hour trying to show them how and teach them every time we change sheets .. i found that out after waiting for 2 hours for one of the girls to make their bed * smacks my head*

Or you could also put a small supply of towels in their night gown drawers. the girls here always take showers at night before bed so they change into a night gown right after. I might just start doing that that sounds like a good idea for me. Expecially since they seem to hord towels or stuff them places other then the laundry basket.
