We've all seen it in the magazines...scrappers making a LO with someone else's pictures. Here is a swap that doesn't involve too much money or time commitment...just a little creativity. I participated in this last month on another group & it was a lot of fun & was amazing to see what everyone came up with. I'd be glad to corrdinate this so if you are up for the challenge, let me know. The way it will work is everyone would post on here to sign up. And then I will match everyone up with their TP Buddy. We will exchange mailing addresses & you send your buddy a few pictures, generally about 4 or so. And you of course give them the details like names, dates, etc & they come up with a page for you. I would need to know what size page everyone uses so that I can let everyone know what size to do. And you can do either a 1 or 2 page LO & there will be a set spending amount for supplies. We can figure out later what the price should be! LMK if you'd like to sign up. :)

Oh & here is the pages that were done for me. My computer wasn't working last week so we had to restore it & I lost the
page I did but it was really cute! ;) I've never really done a miscellaneous page of my favorite pictures of the kids so I had Lynda do that for me. And she did an excellent job. On the first page she has the metal things & she made the sticker that says "Children." She also made a sticker that says "03" for the heart. The other rectangle is for me to journal on vellum to place on there. The 2nd page has the tags that slide out for me to journal on as well.

I have 2 friends that I scrap with that I can ask if you want more people. They might not be interested but it doesn't hurt to ask. :D

Ok I will go ahead & set everything up for the Trading Pages. I need everyone interested to PM or email me at dndjohnson4@yahoo.com with their mailing address & what size pages they use (ie 12x12, 8 1/2x11, etc). I will then match everyone up & email you with who you need to mail your pictures to.
Everyone will then have until June 30 to send as many pictures as you want to your TP buddy. Please also send with it any journaling you want, names of those in the pictures & just a general description.

When you do the pages, please be as creative as possible & try to use what you have at home if you can.

You have until July 15th to mail your completed pages back. When you do mail them, please try to protect them as much as possible. A good idea is to place the completed page in a 2 gallon Ziploc bag & then in whatever mailer it will fit.

Ok I only heard back from Shalon (and her friend) & Christina. So there will only be 4 of us participating. I will PM the partners with the mailing addresses.

But here are the matches:

Debra will do Shalon's page
Christina will do Debra's page
Alison will do Christina's page
Shalon will do her Alison's page

Everyone has until July 15th to get your pictures mailed out. Please include with them a brief description such as names, locations or any other important info.

And we have until 31st to mail the completed pages back.

When you mail them, it is a good idea to place the pages in a gallon size Ziploc bag to protect the pages & then place them in an appropriate sized mailer. Please also make sure that you write DO NOT BEND on the mailer. Another rule of thumb is to place a piece of cardboard inside the mailer to protect the pages from bending.

If you have any questions or problems, don't hesitate to post or PM me.

Yep, it's still on. I mailed my pics to you on the 15th as well. I remember the day 'cause it was payday! lol I'm surprised they aren't there yet!
