I have all these Allegra-D samples that I am not going to be able to use. The decongestant in it does something weird to my nerve endings, and makes my sense of touch/feel amplify to the point that it hurts if somebody touches me. Weird, huh? Anyway, I take the regular Allegra now, and I kNOW how expensive this stuff is. I HATE to just throw this stuff away. If you knew somebody could use it, would you give it to them? I mean it's not like it is a painkiller or anything, right?? Allegra-D anyone?? LOL

See if there is a low-income or free clinic in your area. Some clinics will accept unused meds for re-prescribing to people without insurance. It is tax-deductible, and non-felony. ;) Call a local pharmacy & they should be able to tell you if there are any such programs in your area.

Robin has a good point - it is against US law to sell or even give away prescription drugs, without the proper authority to do so. Great idea to call a local pharmacy for info on what clinics may have a program to re-distribute such items! I'm going to be moving this to the charitable giving forum soon, so that idea is more easily accessible later. This topic crops up on a fairly regular basis.
