Does anyone here make them or could anyone here tell me how to make them. I am pretty confident in my sewing skills and can get the lavendar pretty cheap at the Farmers Market in town. I saw some of these at Trader Joe's and did not buy them. Why I am not sure, but would love to have some. My DH even said how great that would be for our laundry to smell like lavendar!

I made them my self!
They turned out very nice!
I used muslin and about a 1/4 cup of dried lavendar. I think it will be a trial and error kind of thing, to see how much is better in each bag.

Awesome mama. I was following to see what turned up. I would have written but am clueless. Can you post a pic. Also let me know how it works. I've been using vinegar in the wash and foil in the dryer, but, that's a lot of foil. I would love to try the bags. So let me know. Thanks!

I use foil as well and it keeps your clothes from getting static cling :)

I received some lavender dryer bags from a swap on this board from a mama. It looks fairly simply. She used lavender wash clothes Cut in half, sew sides leaving one side open pour in the lavender, and sew up the remaining side, Voila Lavender dryer bag. I use these often and they are still in great shape. I got a set of three. I will have to go back and look at the tag (hope I kept it) to see who gave it to me.

Trader Joes actually has a lavender plant for under 10 dollars so maybe you can transplant it in your yard for an unending supply for all sorts of things.

I make them too. :) I use organic flannel and serge them. I take about a half ounce of lavender buds and toss it in a bag with 10 drops lavender oil. I serge the edges, mine look like little pillows about 3"x5" and last 20+ loads in the dryer.

I LOVE my lavender bags from T. Joes....I'm not a sewing gal, so I'll keep buying those...

Have you tried them in the dryer? Did they work? Did you add lavender EO or just use the buds?

I'm curious as I've got lots of lavender and also the EO. I'd love to make us some.

Yes I started using them in the dryer earlier this week. From my understanding you can use them up to 12 times depending on how much driend lavendar you use. I have not used any EO yet. I also am understanding that after the first 10-12 times you can put EO on them to "refresh" the smell.

Does the oil get on your clothes in the dryer? Even if it's a little bit? :)

I am not sure if I will even mess with the Oil thing. I can buy the dried Lavendar at the Farmers Market super cheap.
