Brand names, too. I know Val has one that is awesome, but I don't know the brand.
Do you use it alot ? Do you like it?
I am thinking it might be smarter than a crockpot, for some things.
Also, if you cook up a couple of pounds of beans, how do you store them, or do I just want a pressure cooker?
I've made black beans three times. I store them in mason jars in the fridge, drained. and they get so disgusting,a nd I don't use them up. And the jars crack in the freezer. It's 45 cents for a 15 /2 ounce can of beans, and 42 cents for a pound of dried beans, which makes the equivalent of eight cans ( thereabouts).
For that matter, beans and grains. I do lentils and brown rice ( not nearly often enough)) but I hear you can put beans and grains together in the pressure cooker. Then, do you dress them, eat them plain??? I haves questions, youse guys haves answers.
TIA,
ari
