Okay, this is my very first garden. i am SO proud of it. My little plants are shooting up left and right. I need to thin them but I have a thinning fear it seems LOL. Anyway, We surrounded the garden with a nylon border and path made of wood chip. Underneath the woodchips is some barrier type thing made to prevent weeds from coming up. Dh moved aside some of the woodchips :eek: There were millions of white larvae. they were tiny and they have ants crawling all over them so I assume they are ants or something that ants love to eat:wah: (THis is the vomiting guy- to indicate YUCK, not crying like he is supposed to be but doesn't look it). Anyways, what should we do about these nasty things. They are everywhere. I don't want them to grow into tiny flying things that will eat my garden, nor do I want ants everywere. Any clue as what i should do with them?

Sounds like you discovered an ant colony. The white things are larvae. I found them in my garden a few days ago. I just left them alone. As long as they aren't fire ants and they are outside, not in your house, they shouldn't do any harm.
